Aglio e Olio


1 pound spaghetti

2 tablespoons salt

1/4 cup Petrvs extra virgin olive oil

8 garlic cloves minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 teaspoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley


1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in 2 tablespoons salt to the water and cook the pasta according to package directions.

2. In a small saucepan, pour in 1/4 cup olive oil and heat over low heat for 60 seconds. Add in garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook 60 seconds. Remove from heat.

3. Pour the olive oil mixture over the cooked and drained pasta. Add in additional 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Pour in lemon juice and parsley and toss until pasta is coated.
